CafeteriA
Our campus offers 3 cafeteria and mess facility to the students and staff, which offers all meals and snacks. Separate canteen facility for both boys and girls are provided by the campus by giving utmost importance to cleanliness and hygiene without any compromise in taste and quality. Regular monitoring and inspection to the cafeterias is ensured by the institution.
Gym
Our institution offers gym facility with modern fitness equipments for students. Exercise is inevitable for good physical and mental health. Expending energy in exercise can actually give students the boost they need to be more proficient in their studies. Fitness plays a major role in brain health and staying active.
Hostel
Ponjesly College of Engineering provides hostel facilities for the residential convenience of the students. There are now two separate hostels for boys and girls. PJCE hostel provides a good and studious environment for those who want to study with full determination. They have much time to explore the boundaries of education and to enjoy hostel life as well which depends upon time management, Planning and determination.
Library
A college library is a dedicated space within a college or university campus that serves as a hub of knowledge and information. It houses a vast collection of books, journals, periodicals, and other resources carefully curated to support the academic pursuits of students and faculty. At present central library is housed in a multi storied building situated in the midst of all departments and hostels and is easily accessible to all. For the smooth functioning of the library, it has been divided into different sections and readers have been allowed open access to the library holdings. Students and researchers can access a range of physical and digital resources, including books, e-books, scholarly databases, and multimedia materials.
Reprographic centre
In-order to cater to the daily needs of students, our college has a separate space for photocopying and printing which works with 3 staff. The reprographic center is well equipped with machines which offers all types of printing works. This central Xerox facility provided by the institution offers subsidized rate to the students for all photocopy materials.
Sports
The college provides facilities to develop the sports activities of students and also our physical education faculty assists the students to participate in all the competitions in and out of the campus. The in-door facilities available for students are badminton, table tennis, chess, carom and swimming. The out-door facilities provided by the campus are basketball, volleyball, cricket, foot ball, kho-kho and kabaddi.
Indoor games
Our college has an excellent indoor game facility. We have a swimming pool attached to it. Our indoor games port has facilities for table tennis and ball badminton. This encourages our students to indulge in various sports activities to become physically fit and mentally relaxed.
Transport
Ponjesly College of Engineering operates 22 buses for the convenience of students and staff coming from in and around Kanyakumari. This transport facility is also used for various educational purposes like field trips, industrial visits and recruitments. We provide the bus facility for students at minimum operational cost. Our aim is to provide this bus facility for the safety of students coming from various places. Also we follow all the safety and security regulations & norms applied by government and Motor Vehicles Department ( R.T.O.)
Windmill
Besides providing all the facilities that caters the best peaceful and secure environment for best learning for the students, our college draws its 1/4thof the electricity from the six windmills inside the campus.
Health centre
Considering the health and wellbeing, Our college has established health centre which provides primary health care and emergency services. Health centre extends medical facility to all the students and staffs. The centre is being revamped every year to upgrade our nursing and medical services to our students and faculties.
ATM
ATM facility has been provided inside the premises of the college campus inorder to make banking easier for the benefit of students and staff members. It enables them to withdraw and access cash in a convenient way. The ATM functions 24/7 for dispensing cash.
Auditorium
Our College has an Auditorium to give students the opportunity to experience various cultural festivals. We have a main auditorium for all departments and a separate auditorium for mechanical department both have been air conditioned entirely with a total capacity of 44 tone. Seating capacity is also super spacious with 400 seat attached with dining.
Guest House
We have a guest house, which is state of the art, with 5 floors. It has two suit rooms, 5 guest rooms, one dining hall with kitchen, a gym, a swimming pool, which is on second floor. We also have a helipad facility.
