ABOUT DEPARTMENT
The department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) is established during the academic year 2022-23 with an intake of 30 and increased to an intake of 60 in the academic year 2023-24 followed by 120 in the academic year 2024-25. The department is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is a new branch of study that deals the development of data-driven solutions, data visualization tools and techniques to analyse big data. It also incorporates the concepts of machine learning and deep learning model building for solving various computational and real-world problems. AI and Data science is the current trend, ruling the business world and it is highly paid career now.
We prepare and practice a high standard Teaching Learning Process to bestow university curriculum. Our faculty delivers the best learning content through practical components by means of experiments, miniprojects, placement training and entrepreneurial projects which will improve students Higher Order Thinking and support Outcome Based Education.
The main motto of the department is to bring out the technical talent of the younger generation and mould them holistically in such a way that they face the external world with prompt interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
